Empowered Parents Workshop Series

To kick off the first event in our 2019 Empowered Parents Workshop Series, we are excited to feature special education attorney, Jazmine Gelfand, to cover what you need to know when working with a public school to support a child with learning differences. 

In this presentation, you will gain valuable knowledge on:

  • Your rights and how to communicate concerns with the school to ensure a positive outcome for your child
  • How schools can support students with learning disabilities and ADHD
  • The process for schools to respond to parents' concerns and evaluate a student for special education support
